About QuickLean

QuickLean is World’s First Automated tool that helps to convert Unified Functional Test (UFT) or Quick Test Professional (QTP) scripts to HP’s LeanFT. QuickLean is a patent pending tool that has been developed in close correlation between Cigniti’s R&D team and HP’s R&D team. QuickLean converts your HP UFT scripts to be readily used with HP’s latest and advanced functional test automation solution – LeanFT. Earlier, Cigniti released WinQuick and RoboQuick accelerator tools that supported the migration of WinRunner to QTP and Rational to QTP migration respectively.

Traditionally, test automation was at the end of SDLC and articulated around the front end approach. But, with the origin of Agile methodology the focus has been towards shift-left thus testing occurring much earlier in the software development life cycle. Manual migration/conversion of existing UFT/QTP/Selenium test frameworks/artifacts to LeanFT scripts or creating new frameworks with LeanFT is time-consuming, expensive, needs a lot of development skill set. QuickLean eases and automates these migrations which will full-throttle your agile journey.

Moreover, Quicklean makes the LeanFT adoption for Developers, Testers and Test Automation Engineers a cakewalk by automatically converting UFT test assets (Object Repository and VB Scripts) to LeanFT (Application model and C#/Java scripts).

The QuickLean team has taken every care that tool has been tested with millions of lines of code and the results appear very positive. This truly innovative test assets migration tool reduces the migration effort by 90%, speeds up the migration by 5 times and reduces the cost of migration by 10 times as compared to Manual Migration.
